Just a reminder that we will not be having classes this coming Sunday, over the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. However, we are holding a Mitzvah Day, which is an opportunity to get some things done around the synagogue and school grounds. The Religious School has two projects (with a possible third) — working on the former preschool’s garden plots with Miranda Jacobson, and organizing the Art Room with Sarah Egelman. If there is interest and time, participants can also work on going through files, books, and papers in the storage room (Room 209) and religious school office. (Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?)
The Men’s Club also has some projects in mind, and Sisterhood may as well. They will send out their own notices about these projects, but also check the weekly email blast to see what they may have going on this Sunday.
I hope to see many of you there. If you have other plans for the weekend, enjoy your long weekend and we’ll see you the following Tuesday or Sunday!
